"Round Tower of Glendalough" ~ This well preserved Irish round tower is the most prominent feature of St. Kevin's ancient Monastic City in Ireland's Wicklow Mountains. The tower stands about 110' high (33m) and was built about a thousand years ago. It was likely used as a bell tower and as refuge from attackers.
"Walking the Cliffs" ~ A couple takes a stroll along the top of the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Ireland. The cliffs rise as much as 702’ (214m) above the Atlantic Ocean while stretching over 5 miles (8km).
“Iron Fence of St. Nicholas” ~ Built in the 1300s, the Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas is an Anglican church located in the heart of Galway. It's the largest medieval parish church in Ireland that has been in continuous use as a place of worship. Read more on my blog, "Galway, Part III"
