"Nā Pali Coast of Kauai" ~ Sailboat navigates the majestic Nā Pali Coast of Kauai between Kalalau Valley and Alapi'i Point amongst mountains that rise 4000 feet above the Pacific Ocean.
"Waterfront Fountain" ~ A focal point of family activity in the beautifully appointed Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, this fountain is usually filled with kids splashing about in swimsuits, while their parents retreat from the sun under nearby shade trees. I arrived early one chilly February morning in order to capture this photo, sans children. The arching streams of water frame the park's pier as well as Patriot's Point on the opposite shore of Charleston Harbor.
